PLAY! By Sephora November Box

Welcome to my first "Golden Gal" BEAUTY blog post!

PLAY! By Sephora

I recently joined a monthly beauty box subscription with Sephora in July, and I have been in love with it ever since! It only costs $10 a month, and you get 4 trial-sized, name-brand beauty products to play with in a cute makeup bag that is themed differently every month, plus a trial-sized fragrance! Wouldn't everyone like to have a surprise waiting for them at least once a month?!

This month, the theme is:

"It's Me O'clock".

How cute is that?? Every girl needs to feel like she has time to herself to just relax and unwind!...okay, maybe just putting on some smell-goods and something to make your skin feel soft will do. I mean, we're pretty busy during the weeks so we'll take what we can get!

These products definitely remind me of a perfect, "girl's night in" kind of spa treatment, so I was super excited to get them just in time for Thanksgiving Break!

(All photos are taken of the actual product I received in the mail to show the size and appearance of the products).

Here's the products:

Caudalie S.O.S. Thirst-Quenching Serum

This serum has a light scent and gives instant hydration to your skin! It's a refreshing way to give your face a cooled feeling just before bed!

Origins Charcoal Mask

This was probably my favorite product out of the whole box! This charcoal mask sample is one of the best-sized items I've received as a sample and the product absolutely makes you want to buy full-size! It's got a great, silky texture that applies to your skin with a smooth, silvery finish! It's super fun to see how it completely leaves a glow to your skin once you wash it off!

Marc Jacobs Mascara

This mascara packs a lot of volume into this little sample! I could immediately tell the difference in how much volume it gave my lashes in just one coat comparing to the multiple coats I'm used to putting on with other brands. This one is a definite winner! (Full price: $26).

Moroccanoil: Moroccanoil Hair Treatment

Unlike most oils that make your hair feel greasy, this Moroccan oil has a somewhat thick consistency that comes out an orangish-brown and smells amazing!! I could definitely tell there was a softer shine in my hair the next day. I tried it on slightly damp after a shower, but I didn't follow the recommended use of doing it right before I styled my hair, so I'll be interested to see if that makes results even better!

Sephora Ultra-Shine Gloss in Perfect nude

I loved that this was a really pretty neutral shade for a more natural look. It gives off a pretty, natural shine and smells great!

(Full price $12)

Fragrance: Burberry Blush

The title "Blush" is super accurate on this one, because it's a really pretty and light scent that is slightly sweet and floral with notes of pomegranate, rose, and jasmine! (Full price $90)

And Now For A Completed Look...

Here's a sample of a completed look using some of these products, along with other products that have been received in my PLAY! By Sephora boxes:

Products: Tarte clay artistry palette, Naked Smoky eye palette, Hourglass concealer stick, Kat von D matte lipstick (Lovesick), Sephora ultra shine gloss (perfect nude), bareMinerals eyeliner (Charcoal) , and Marc Jacobs mascara!

Thanks for tuning in to my first beauty blog post! Let me know in the comments what you think about the beauty section so far and if you'd like to see more beauty posts in the future!
